SpaceWorms is a turn-based strategy game which puts you in the role of “Ze Wormperor”, overlord over a galactic civilization. Develop your planets and steal, bomb, infect, colonize, brainwash, and conquer your way to total domination in this wiggly, crazy, and politically incorrect multi-gravity artillery game.
The very basics. What is worm in SpaceWorms? We know the answer.
Upgrade – Your planet gains special abilities. Can be stolen with blue rockets (50% chance).
Civ-Level – Enables different rocket types and trajectory preview. Maximum: V.
Red – Deals damage. The longer it flies, the more damage it does.
Blue – Steals upgrades. 100% success rate for neutral planets, 50% for hostile planets.
Green – Takes half your population and settles on neutral planets. Other planets, hostile or friendly, get the population carried when hit.
Black – Takes half your population and conquers other planets, neutral or hostile. If hostile, the carried population must exceed the planet’s population (otherwise only damage is dealt).
Rockets are enabled depending on your civ-level:
I – Only red rockets.
II – Red & blue.
III – Red, blue, & green.
IV – Red, blue, green, & black.
V – No additional rockets, but trajectory preview.
No. 2: Square with arrows – Toggles between window and fullscreen.
No. 3: Music thingies – Toggles between: Mute / sound effects only / sound effects + music.
No. 4: Question mark – En/Dis-ables hints when hoovering over symbols (e.g., upgrades)
No. 5: Arrows – Shows controls
No. 6: Cup – Shows stats of the running game
