Universe sandbox is a great game to mess around in. Awaken the astrophysicist in you and smash planets together, rewrite the rules of the solar system, and generally have a good time.
Have you wanted to make a planet your own? Ever? Yes. This guide will help you follow the basics of making a planet from scratch.
Using The Right Objects
Yes. You must use the right objects. The object must not be too small. We can use a asteroid, but not a comet. Or we could use a minor object that is round such as Juno. (Not the Juno Spacecraft. I mean the minor object called Juno.) We have to spam launch a object at or asteroid/minor object that is smaller then the object. We don’t want our current object to fly off, and create fragments. Right click or double click on your current object, and do this. Motion > Scroll Down > Click “Position Lock” (I use that all the time.) But how do we remove fragmentation? View > Scroll Down To Fragments > Click Fragments. (I’d also suggest you size compare before letting the object crash into it. If it is bigger, it will then become your current object. If it is smaller, unpause and watch it be fed to the current object you’re using.)
The Size You Want To Have
Once you have the size you wanted to have, you can finally add an atmosphere (if its actually big enough) and do whatever with your planet. Add moons too! Don’t leave it lonely! (Unless you like to be alone.)
