First of all, this is my first guide, so maybe it’s a little bit bad, but I’m trying my best. So, in this guide I wanna help the beginner or bad players to became better at PvP and overall in the game. I consider myself a pro player (no egoism but my K/D is big) and when making a guide it’s statistically incorrect for a bad player to teach, It’s like 3. grade students teaching 2. grade students. A +rep on my profile would be appreciated.:)
Do you have a very good PC, and you think you should play on Ultra, you’re wrong. If you wanna have advantage in PvP, you should use “tactical” graphic settings. How does it look like? This is how it looks like:
With this graphic settings, you should have more than 60 fps, expect you’re using a very bad computer. Your game not gonna be very beautiful, but I assure you, that you gonna see everything.
The skybases won’t be a problem, because there are no clouds, the ghillie suit players not gonna be a problem, because the grass is turned off, so you gonna clearly see them.
This is a picture of a ghillie suit player, on Ultra graphics:
Do you see him, I don’t see him, but he’s there.
This is the same picture, but with my graphics settings:
A blind person would spot him from the space.
I hope I helped you with this part of the guide now let’s go to the other!
Maybe, you have set the settings to the best, but you can’t kill the person, with watching him, you need to hit him, and to hit him you need to aim, and to aim good, you need to train.
In Unturned I see so many players who only shoot for body, but it’s the wrong way, you don’t deal enough damage, you need to go for the head. And in unturned your head is a big cube, so it isn’t a big deal to shoot it. A little training and you only shoot for the head, and kill everybody.
I recommend you to first of all play some aimbooster (http://www.aimbooster.com/), then play Sandbox servers (where you can add), and go straight into the fights, if you mostly kill people there without dying, then go to arena’s and play there very much time, until your a headshot machine.
If you wanna be a harder target, than use dropshot, yeah it’s a little noob, but definitely very useful.
Don’t you know what is it, I’m gonna explain it, but first you need to know how to follow a target with aiming.
So it looks like this: you are shooting at someone, and he/she is shooting back at you, you don’t wanna risk dying, so you prone/crouch (prone is more efficient, and faster) but still shoot at him/her. With this tactic it’s more likely that you gonna win that fight.
One of the most important thing that you need to use is TPP (H on your keyboard in Unturned). The TPP advantage is a really important thing in games where is there TPP. Seeing what’s behind a wall without peeking is very useful. Fight in only TPP!!
The mentality and thinking
Yeah it may sounds like something deep and hard, but it’s not.
With the mentality I’m gonna be fast because it’s not much. You need to be CALM. When your not calm you gonna shake a little bit, and gonna be stressed, and it affects how you think and shoot. Being stressed in this games has two common reasons:
1. The fear of losing your loot, that you worked hard for.
2. The fear of dying with bad loot trying to kill somebody who has better loot than you.
For the first problem, for myself the solution was to think logically, I’m gonna have the chance to survive it, or if I die, loot like this gonna spawn, there’s a chance that I shoot somebody bad with this loot, or raid my killers. Because everyone knows, that if somebody stole from you 100$ he/she’s not gonna dump it, he/she’s gonna keep that, and you have the chance to get it back, this is the same in Unturned. With this mentality, I think you gonna be a little calmer before/during fights.
For the second problem, for myself the solution was to say that in my head that I didn’t had the loot, in this situation, only they have something to lose, not me, I should try this, maybe I’ll kill them and get some good loot.
The thinking in this game is very important. You need to have a plan. You wanna be passive, and just looting without PvP, or wanna be aggressive and shooting at everybody. I recommend when having bad loot, shooting at everybody, because you have not much to lose but your target has maybe much to lose. Being a little passive when having good stuff is more safer, and tactical, but definitely use the stuff you have. The spec ops clothes are not for zombie killing in multiplayer. Staying at your base logged off, because fearing of death is pointless, think why do you have that stuff. Why do you defend it. What would you do with it after defending it for weeks and not even clicking on it. Risk your stuff, because that is why it were created.
Another important thing is to use covers (correctly). Running on the middle of the road is risky, run next to the road in the “forest”, behind trees and bushes to make yourself a harder target. When your rushing, be next to something solid, that can defend you from bullets.
