Larry Ragland's 4x4 Challenge (LRC from now on) is basically an arcade racer in a short-track offroad setting. Usually set inside a stadium or such, it features some unknown-make vehicles (no adjustments allowed) each with slightly different ratings in handlings, acceleration, and more. The courses are very reminiscent of the ones in LEADFOOT (by Ratbag Interactive).
The tracks are your typical supercross type-tracks... Lots of curves, jumps, and a few straights with switchbacks and more switchbacks. The tracks are different enough as some are longer with higher speed whereas some are low-spe
First-person action game, published by SystemSoft for Japanese computers in 1986. Its polygonal 3D graphics engine was a technical milestone, rendering 3D environments at a fast pace and (compared to the tile-based, right-angle movement of earlier first-person games) allowed the player to move with full 360-degree movement.
In this online-only game, you buy classic cars, customize their performance to your liking, and race them against opponents around the world. The game was plagued with technical issues and met its end in August 29th 2003.
Most of us driving-game junkies want more than a realistic driving experience; we want rocket-like speed that lets us blast through the streets, defying the boundaries of realism.
Space Haste seats you in a hovercraft modelled after 50s-style cars, in a race where your speed limit is unlimited. The maximum speed of the hovercraft increases throughout the game, as your skills improve. What makes this even more challenging is that your reaction time decreases as your speed increases, so hugging the curves of the track gets even more difficult.
Along the track, you can grab pickups, such as Cloak, Stun, and Shield, that add temporary powers to your vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz Truck Racing is a truck racing game based on the BreakNeck engine, with the Mercedes license behind it. Test your skills in racing a million-dollar souped-up Freightliner in a 1st or 3rd person view. The game supports a variety of steering devices, though a simple keyboard will do. It features real truck racing teams and drivers, realistic damage, a replay editor, and an optional unlimited speed mode (trucks are normally limited to 160 km/h to minimize the damage these 5 tonners do when they spin out of control). Compete in a single race or full season mode on a number of licensed race tracks from around Europe, or practice all tracks with or without a Ghost truck.

Autobahn Raser III is the third installment of Davilex' Autobahn Raser series.
Like in previous installments the player races through various German cities and on parts of the German Autobahn.
New to this game is the addition of the story character Krüger, a police agent chasing down the Autobahn Raser club.
Holiday Racer is another entry in the Davilex Racer series where the player takes part in a TV show. The price is a free trailer pitch in Monaco. But of course the player has to work for it - in this case the task is to win six illegal street races in Aachen, Paris, Lyon, Marseilles, Monaco and Nice. There are five humorous exaggerated persons to choose, e.g. a hippie or a stressed family father.
The races are heavily action oriented and include power-ups which either increase the top speed, freeze other cars or repair the own vehicle. Between the races the player can invest earned points in better tires, engines or gearboxes; he also can gamble for other equipment. The available vehicles are no regular cars but jet ski trailers or jeeps. When beating the game with all vehicle types the player unlocks a special car.
