Ground Control is set in the 25th century. Mankind emerged from the devastation of the Third World War (known in the game as "The Sixteen-minutes War", which almost wiped out the whole of humanity) and managed to colonize several planets across the galaxy. The Earth is ruled by a council called GCC (Global Central Command) that is formed by elected representatives and representatives of the mega corporations which rose to power after the fall of the Terran nations.
The game's plot revolves around the conflict between the Crayven Corporation and the Order of the New Dawn for the possession of the distant world of Krig 7-B. In the beginning of the game, the player assumes the role of Major Sarah Parker of the Crayven Corporation as she leads the Crayven forces in order to eliminate the presence of the "Dawnies" (her derogatory nickname in reference to followers of the Order). In the second campaign, the player assumes control of Deacon Jarred Stone in his attempt to drive the "Crays" from the surface of Krig 7-B. Dur
Grand Prix 3 (GP3) is a computer racing simulator by MicroProse. Released in 2000 by Hasbro Interactive featuring the 1998 Formula One season (with all drivers except Jacques Villeneuve, who is instead replaced by a fictional character, John Newhouse). The game wasn't quite as well received as its predecessors, but at the time was widely considered to be the best racing simulation available.
An add-on to the game, called GP3-2000 or GP32k, was released by Hasbro which updated the game to the 2000 Formula One season. A few other changes were made as well including: updated damage physics including damage from on-circuit debris, improved AI, a new replay system, and EAX 3D-sound.
Since the release of Grand Prix 4, the GP3 modding scene has slowly declined, and with the cracking of track editing for GP4 many track modders left GP3 for the newer title.

You've been lost in the forest for days. In the middle of the night you awaken to weird sounds coming from the distance. You douse your campfire and head toward the sounds to investigate. Looks like you won't be getting much sleep tonight.

I was one of the first map packs to be extensively large and demonstrated the full ability of the Quake "id tech 1" engine. This map pack is still largely popular to this day, and earned favorable reviews.
The map received a nod in the 2017 video game "Quake Champions".

Hard Truck 2 is the original version of the more well-known upgraded release called Hard Truck 2: King of the Road. Some of the major differences that separate this release are the lack of extended interface at gas and repair stations that allows player to choose how much fuel to fill or which parts of the car to repair, the lack of ability to buy lighter vehicles such as BMW M5 at the beginning of the game or even start playing as one immediately, weaker AI, far better rewards at "The Circuit", the lack of need to stop for refueling/upgrading in the "Simulator" mode, and some other elements.
This original version cannot be upgraded to the Kind of the Road re-release via patching.
It was initially released in US back in 2000 (v4.0), followed by a few updated versions that also saw release in some European countries as well (such as v5.8 being released in Portugal and Lithuania). Original Russian release v6.5 never had an official English translation, yet v6.5-7.4 were localized and released in some European countr

Aces High is a multiplayer game in which three teams fight over domination of the map. The success is measured in ground targets: a team loses when they only have their headquarters left. To capture a target (some have to be simply destroyed), the team has to bring its defenses down and then bring in troops (for example with a C-47). However, this is not enough because - depending on the damage taken - it first has to be built up again. The time this takes depend on various factors, e.g. what other near targets are available, and can be sped up with supply drops by transport aircraft. Available ground installments also have other effects, e.g. the availability of ammo or troops.
The majority of of the action is fought in the air with World War II aircraft, but there are also ground (e.g. tanks) and naval vehicles available. The matches itself are of a grand scale and can take multiple hours; afterwards the map is reset. Overall the controls are somewhere between simulation and action. Depending on the arena, which
