Deposited into a labyrinth of flesh and metal, you see things others won't believe, experience horrors beyond ordinary comprehension, and witness impossibilities that drive lesser men mad. Only one directive remains evident in your mind - Ascend the Spire. Destroy the Eye.
Spirits’ Creek is a third-person horror adventure where, following an avalanche, you play as a father looking for his daughter. Battle supernatural creatures, tame the elements and solve the mystery surrounding the events in order to survive the night.
Slay hordes of vampires, werewolves, and Biblically-accurate angels in this standalone survival horror FPS side story from the El Paso, Elsewhere universe.
The Egg of Human Endeavors is a single map made in February 2018 for Vargskelethor's Doom Mapping Contest 2: Hellectric Boogaloo. It's complevel 9 and tested thoroughly by me in PrBoom+ and GZDoom (but mostly in PrBoom+). Hurt Me Plenty is designed to be fun for everyone, and Ultra-Violence is designed to be fun for challenge enthusiasts.
Phmlspd is a mod for doom II consisting of 13 new, fast paced maps know as Scythe style death arenas. These slaughter-maps are best for people that like lightening fast excitement.
In a mapset where time is running out, where memes, are now dreams, and vice versa, and human emotion is no longer a valid format, there is one entity ready to put his foot down, and say no. Play as a lonely timid frog, determined to make his mark on a mapset that's ever so crumbling around him. Make your way through exhilarated, magnificent and enchanting landscapes. Move with frog, live with frog, breathe with frog. Be. Frog.
Examine the memes through the eyes of your frog, and allow the sun rays to reflect through the intricate pixels of the fireblu walls. Ever wondered what it would be like to platform in the doom engine? Controls reversed? Solve puzzles? Or how about owning your own revenant rocket with a personality more ecstatic and enchantingly realistic than any class clown or surf shop employee? It can all be done with Poogers.
The Event Horizon is a four level PWAD for Doom II designed for Boom-compatible source ports created by Killer5. The maps use primarily stock textures and feature a nukage theme with the style of gameplay ranging from short and compact in the vein of Zzul Bases to slaughter. The mapset was uploaded to the idgames archive on May 30, 2021 and received an honorable mention at the 2021 Cacowards.
Entropy is a large and challenging Boom compatible (cl9) slaughter map with a gold and orange theme. There are two main routes to take from the start, one for plasma and the other for rockets, both must be completed in order to finish the map, so your decision wont leave you without one weapon. There are 3 new keycards that replace the skull keys, each of which will require you to beat a difficult encounter to get. Once you have all 3 you can get the BFG and will be rewarded with something...else. The map has been completed without BFG and without secrets to ensure it is balanced. Many of the fights will require some puzzling out before you can complete them. Sometimes this means simply pushing a switch when you otherwise wouldn't and other times it can mean something else entirely.
This is a long and difficult map, but the other difficulties have been balanced in the hopes that people will use them. I would highly recommend that people play this map in a GL port like GLBoom or GZDoom as there are a few spots wher
A fairly challenging slaughter map by me.
It could be a little difficult for beginners or somebody who prefer more relaxing gameplay, you can just lower the difficulty.
Have a good time!
Dance on the Water is a collection of 10 boom-compatible maps featuring challenging combat and platforming. Most of the maps are short to medium in length, except map 3 which might take more than 10 hours to beat on UV.
5 maps designed for PrBoom+ complevel 9. Play on HNTR or HMP. I spent the vast majority of time working on HNTR and HMP for maps 01-03. UV is an extra special difficulty that most likely only I will find fun.
Maps31 and 32: These two maps are special bonus maps. Only UV is implemented for Map31. Map32 has HNTR, HMP, and UV implemented but I recommend almost everyone play HNTR on Map32.
Difficulty descriptions: HNTR: I dont really play slaughter/I rarely play slaughter
HMP: I like slaughter maps but it definitely isnt my primary focus.
UV: I love going up against overwhelming odds, fighting tens (sometimes hundreds) of cybs/viles at a time, pain elemental swarms, Reality category of speedrunning.
Due to the nature of these maps I recommend playing with infinite height off in ZDoom based ports due to the flying monster behavior mixed with high ceilings. These maps were designed for PrBoom+ cl9 which has vanilla flying monster behavior.
Because of my mapping preferences play in software mode for best visual resu
Fractured Worlds is a collection of 8 blue/cyan Boom compatible (cl9) maps, spanning a wide variety of themes and presenting some challenging set piece encounters and incidental combat. There are some large and small maps, and each one contains a secret fight, accessible by finding the hidden purple keycard in each level. There are 6 maps by me (7 including the anti-Underhalls map at the end) and 2 secrets maps by Scotty and Insane Gazebo, taking the map 31 and 32 slots respectively. Maps jump from tech gardens and deep caverns to grand neo-gothic architecture and abstract void spaces.
Maps vary in length and complexity, with some harder fights being optional. 3 secret maps full of BS and nonsense for those who like being abused by videogames.
