On October 31st, 1996, The Macintosh Team released Realm of Chaos, the first Mac-made megawad. Now, in a rare opportunity, 2 of the original mappers, Steve Duff and Rob Berkowitz, and his son, Leo Berahovich, along with a team of veterans and fans of RoC, have combined to create Realm of Chaos 2: The Revenge of '96! The style of this megawad is oldschool with occasional fashion-forward maps. The mix is eclectic, similar to the original RoC, with broadly defined episode themes. Difficulty ranges from mild to challenging, especially in the episode-ending maps.
Necromantic Thirst is a Boom compatible (-complevel 9) 32-map megawad developed by the French Doom Community (and friends), inspired by some well-known classic wads of yesteryear, and featuring a new take on the standard progression : classic UAC techbases slowly but surely blend into a new, twisted, green and black hellish world. Beware of the evil spirit that inhabits these industrial and medieval worlds, or you might end up losing your sanity.
Wayward Puritans is a spooky, survival horror-inspired single level for the Doom 2 IWAD, with an ending map in MAP02. Explore a creepy mansion, uncover the secrets of an ancient cult, and fight for your sanity against forces more terrible than social science can theorize! Taking inspiration from Resident Evil 1 and cosmic horror, combat has been extensively retooled, so be prepared to make due with more meager resources than your usual Doom map.
Full 32 map megawad of autumn/fall goodness brought to you by the fine folks at @Clippy's Crispy Chicken Chillzone discord. Expect a lot of black and orange, healthy mix of natural, gothic and techbase environments, and a approachable difficulty for the most part.
This was originally meant to be “Plutonia 11” in reference to another Plutonia jokewad but ended up being a decent wad that mixes variety of quality in mapping (experienced and new mappers in the Project) with some humour BUT IT IS NOT A JOKEWAD.
This is an abstract, chaotic and meaningless world. A man embarks on a strange adventure in pursuit of absolute power and truth. He becomes the protagonist in the story, a player. In this world, anything is possible. Many things have no explanations. Just accept the present and solve the problems. In this confusing and difficult journey, perhaps something can be understood until the end, or maybe there is still no knowledge or gain, and all the efforts end up in vain. But in any case, one cannot stop here. The road will keep extending. Keep moving forward and fighting. No matter what lies ahead, there is no fear.
Vladolf Putler, a psychopathic ruler of an evil empire, is disturbing the global peace again.
He has to be stopped before more lives are lost. Are you up to the task?
Lilian Fourhand is a side scrolling action game that uses characters and locations from Maria-sama ga Miteru. Players move from left to right shooting down all enemies that come along, ranging from the likes of birds and bugs to schoolgirls.
You will pilot an helicopter with your more or arrow keys. It is very easy to move, because though it is 3D, you can only move in 2D. Prepare yourself, because this is going to be a hard war. You will have to destroy the armies of ground, air and water weaponry. Your helicopter will be attacked by other helicopters, jeeps, jet fighters, aircraft carriers, battleships, and any kind of enemy. Water, desert, mountains,... all of them are dangerous and full of enemies to destroy.
