Conscientious Objector is a Doom 3 mod that uses the first three levels of the commercial game, stripped bare and repopulated, together with some custom code that stops the player from being able to kill anything.
Sure, you can shoot the zombies all you like, and they will fall down.. it's just that they'll get back up again... On top of this, rather than being told you're great, like most FPS games, you've got an aggressive NPC on your case and in your ear, who'd like nothing better than to see you end up as a zombie's breakfast, and is going to let you know any chance he gets.
FPScore is a multiplayer shooter based on the Quake III Arena. The game was published in cooperation with the Czech video game magazine Score. The game contains maps that are partly inspired by reality (Muzeum metro station in Prague, radar in Brdy), as well as sci-fi maps and map clones from Counter-Strike (namely Assault, Dust). FPScore contains original graphics (textures and models), completely new sounds and music.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it of course, is to eliminate the scourge from the facility, restore power in the Rosskotek Hydro-Electric station then meet up with "dude" in the escape craft waiting for you anchored in the estuary.
The Pyro Update was the second major content update for Team Fortress 2.
The Pyro class was the focus of this update. In addition to three new weapons, the latent Hadouken taunt was upgraded to become the first Kill taunt. The update also added compression blast to the Stock Flamethrower, an ability that would become a core technique for the class.
Two community-made maps, Fastlane and Turbine, were made official and included in the update, along with a link to the Valve Developer Community site. Meet the Sniper was also introduced in a similar manner to Meet the Scout. Additionally, many improvements and fixes were included.
I have been laid down in a pit of darknesses and the shadow of death. And thy anger has pressed down upon me; and all thy cares have come down upon me. And from this bed I cry out for the kindling of thy Light!
Outbreak might be best summed up as an add-on to the original SMOD that encourages the same frenzied action as it throws a generous number of hostiles at the player, especially zombies. Following its base, Outbreak's arsenal includes usual suspects like the G36 carbine, as well as less conventional ones such as a katana that gives the player a speed boost.
Outbreak started off in Summer 2007 as a small, personal mod by SMOD: Tactical forum member veteran_gamer. His hobby project was later released and was well received. As time went on, others like Useful, Jen4, and IneptGuard contributed work and ideas as well.
A huge and highly detailed base map with a unique twist - it is actually three levels in one, to be played in succession. Each exit leads to a different version of the same map with modified layouts/routes and monster placement.
Around medium sized base map with Cr8 textures and somewhat non-linear gameplay relying on exploration (for ammo). Comes with a custom skybox and support for colored lighting.
You're in Fernocity, the most corrupt city in the world. A level with loads of action, and lots of places to explore: A pier, a strip club, an abandoned power plant, an arcade store, a bank, and even a haunted apartment building! And much, much more!
Self Destruct is a hectic top-down arcade shooter made for the TIGSource PG competition. Players control a small ship that needs to survive 250 waves of enemies. The hook for this game is that all enemy waves are procedurally generated, making each gameplay sessions different.
The small ship is able to shoot, use a shield (limited amount) and launch a nuke that clears the entire screen. Defeated enemies leave behind four types of bonuses: blue (restores the shield), red (upgrades the weapons), yellow (restores the nuke) and green (maxes out everything). Despite using an offline executable, the game originally could only be played when connected to the internet to use the online highscore tables. Later, an offline version was released as well.
This map pack is really just group of ideas. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated. Each map proceeds in order. Every map can be played individually, so you can load any map and start with weapons. These maps may have some bugs. You can consult the walkthrough if you get stuck. If you get stuck you can always just load the next map.

The rumour is that there is a forgotten teleport back in one of the old Cabal mines that will put Caleb right at its front door."
Kinu Shoku Ryuu Hana is another Touhou shooting game which is, unfortunately, not very popular due to lack of publicity. With standard gameplay, the gameplay mechanics rely on 2 features: spell card system and spark counter, with the spell card system the player may choose 2 of 7 different spell cards before embarking on a mission. The spark counter consumes magic gauge and is basically very similar to a bomb that will fire lasers to eliminate enemies and bullets. The game's story is around Marisa who is investigating magic fluctuations.
