Super MAYhem 17 is a 28-level Doom II megawad for Boom-compatible source ports, created by members of the Doomworld forums across May and June 2017. It is the sixth installment of the MAYhem series, and was led by Michael Fraize (Marcaek). The WAD features a unique Mario theme, with textures and sprite replacements from various games in the franchise, although monsters and weapons are unchanged, and the changes to power-ups are purely cosmetic. Maps were also limited to containing a maximum of 256 things and a playable area size of 5120x3840 map units, although some did exceed these limitations.

Until None Remain is a futuristic multiplayer first person shooter in a Battle Royale or Last Man Standing format. Matches pit weaponless players against one another in a death match that continues until only one player remains. Players must rush to acquire weapons, armor, or specialty items such as jet packs, or traps. Scale walls or objects using magnetized gloves, jet around the arena in a jet pack, and interact with an environment that includes turrets, explosive containers, noxious gases, and more!
Action takes place on a competitive map with poisonous gases which will push the players inward every five minutes. Matches will last for a maximum of 15 minutes, or until only one player remains. Players will be automatically matched for quick action and will be able to practice in an offline lobby. Matches will take a maximum of five minutes to begin. If a match has not filled up its slots by that time it will fill out the match with AI controlled players.
Nuclear Chunks is a limit removing Plutonia WAD with 6 decently sized maps. There is also a Map08 containing what I had made of Map07 before I lost my way with the project (the actual Map07 in the wad is a simple "The End" bookmark style map). Each map has a distinct style from each other and was limited to using a 32 grid size for linedef and things placement, similar to my favourite Eternal mapset (though allowing myself rotation for a bit of flexibility. Map06 breaks the grid a bit and Map08 a lot). Testing is done using mostly Crispy with DelphiDoom using the voxel pack to help with thing placement.
This map was created to test my skills in vanilla mapping. I liked how results turned out and decided to submit it here. Map is short and quick and it shouldn't take too long to finish.

Midgard Outlaw is a total conversion for GZDoom/Doom II developed and released by Mike MacDee (Impie) in 2017. It is an 11-map sequel episode to Project Einherjar, released a year earlier: both projects are based on a dystopian novel series, Last of the Ghost Lions, set in the same universe. The gameplay involves lots of fast, brutal shootouts with enemies that die relatively easily, but can badly injure the careless player. Midgard Outlaw uses the same weapons and enemies from Project Einherjar, but adds several new foes, as well as a dynamic music gimmick: the soundtrack is comprised of ogg vorbis instead of midi, and switches from calm to intense at certain points during each mission. Unlike its sci-fi heavy predecessor, Midgard Outlaw has almost no sci-fi elements apart from the dystopian setting, focusing on an action movie motif instead. It also features a secret level, unlike the original.
Project Einherjar is a five-episode total conversion for GZDoom/Doom II developed and released by Mike MacDee (Impie) in the summer of 2016; Episode 2 was later released in the winter of 2016; and Episodes 3 through 5 throughout early 2017. It is set during nuclear winter, and features 35 new maps and a totally replaced roster of weapons and enemies in the style of an early-90s 3D shooter. Impie made the mod as a promotional gimmick for a dystopian novel series set in the same universe. The gameplay involves lots of fast, brutal shootouts with enemies that die relatively easily, but can badly injure the careless player. Each episode features a short story that sets the stage for the action to follow, written in the novel's pulpy style.
The mod series is referred to as "Winter Agent Juno." Impie got the mod series title from a Japanese review blog's description of the mod: "Winter Agent Jin: Destroy the Armored Sisters Institute!".
Impie later released a fan mod of the Wolfendoom episode Operation: Arctic Wolf usi
Rise of the Wool Ball is a 2017 total conversion for the ZDoom engine. It was made by MSPaintR0cks and is the sequel to Shadow of the Wool Ball. The game is spread across three episodes, each having five levels with a secret level. Like its predecessor, Rise of the Wool Ball uses a cartoon art style, and it was named a runner-up at the Cacowards that year.
